What information do we collect?

We collect information when registering for camp, managing a camper account, responding to a survey, filling out a form, or requesting information.

When requesting information, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, and/or phone number. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

When registering a child for camp or maintaining a camper account, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information, date of birth, emergency contact information, and medical information.

How does GDI use information collected?

Any of the information we collect may be used in one of the following ways:

-To send updates and special offers

-To improve our website

-To improve customer service

-To process transactions

Whether public or private, information will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested. Use of information collected:

-To administer a contest, promotion, survey, or other site feature

-To send periodic emails, SSM alerts, and phone calls

The email address provided for order processing may be used to send information and updates about orders, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.

How does GDI protect information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of personal information when placing an order or form submission.

We offer the use of a secure server. All credit card information transmitted will go through a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and be encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights.

After a transaction, private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials) will not be stored on our servers.

Does GDI disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer personally identifiable information to outside parties; this does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting business, or assisting in promotion notifications. Third parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our rights or others’ rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Because we value privacy, we have taken the necessary precautions to comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We, therefore, will not distribute personal information to outside parties without consent.

We comply with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products, and services are all directed to people at least 13 years old or older.
